The castle was built in 1215 by Hubert de Burgh from Kentish ragstone and Reigate stone, and cemented by a mortar made of cockleshells from the cockle beds of Canvey Island. A bridge had to be built to cross the LTSR track in order to access the wharf. The Small File Media Festival celebrates videos of under 5 megabytes that show movies don’t have to be big HD files to be beautiful and inspiring. This piece experiments with datamoshing, compression, and a lot of reverb to celebrate the stripping down of high rez, high bandwidth video down to its pixelated components.
